McLean Band Camp 2021
We are so excited to be able to present McLean Band Camp 2021 from August 2-6.!We have games, activities, new music, Olympic events, guest presenters, prizes and gift cards, and lots of FUN planned! In a time filled with a lot of change and uncertainty, this is going to be a great way to catch up with your band friends, make new band friends, and find something to look forward to for the upcoming school year!
We expect all band students to attend our band camp if at all possible, unless there is a prior conflict. Please fill out the following short survey so we can be as prepared as possible for band camp:

Date: August 2-5
Who should go?: EVERYONE should come to band camp August 3-5! If you have a prior conflict that prevents you from attending, please just let the directors know. August 2nd from 10am-12pm anyone who is interested in being on our Leadership Team should attend. August 2nd from 1pm-3pm anyone who is signed up for Jazz Band should attend! August 3-5 will go from 9am-4pm each day with lunch at 12pm.
What do I wear?: Each day has a different dress up theme. Check back for theme days coming soon!!
What will we do at band camp?: At Band Camp, we will do fun activities, attend masterclasses where students get to work with a professional on their instrument, learn some of their all-region music, learn stand tunes that we will play with the Paschal High School Band, and at the end of the week we will have a parent performance to show off what we learned!
Contest Information: Throughout the week, students will earn points that they can use to spend on prizes at the end of the week!
Leadership Camp
Leadership Mini Camp will be offered Monday, August 2 from 10-12pm. Students will fill out a band council application and get to participate in leadership and team building activities!

Jazz Camp
Jazz Camp will also be held on August 2nd from 1-3pm. Students will get to work with Mrs. Reinhart and our guest clinician, Mr. Sawyer on Jazz basics and fun material to get ready for the school year. If you are in Jazz band or interested in joining, plan on attending!
