We offer payment plans for anyone who is interested, and just ask that you pay as much of your dues or fees when you are able to in order to help support the band program. Money is NEVER a reason to quit band—we make any situation work so that ALL students at McLean can pursue music!!!​

​Band Dues: Our band dues are $50 per year, and cover your band t-shirt, food and drinks for the year, cost of trips, contest entries, solo piano accompaniment, and other items such as new music. It may be paid $50 at once or $25 per semester. Contact your director for information on a payment plan. 

Instrument Rental Fee: If you choose to rent your instrument from the FWISD school district, the cost is $80 per year. It may be paid $80 at once or $40 per semester. Instrument rental fees will be collected in person at the school and is cash or money order only.  Sorry, no checks.  Contact your director for information on a payment plan if needed.  An instrument rental form must also be completed before the district instrument is released to a student.   Families in need of financial attendance may contact Mrs. Traughber for a district waiver.  ​See below to find out if this applies to you. ​

​Option of renting from FWISD OR purchasing/renting from a music store:

• Flute
• Clarinet
• Alto Saxophone
• Trumpet
• Trombone

​We encourage these instruments to rent from the music store if at all possible, but do have a limited quantity available to rent from the school if the music store is not an option

Percussionists will purchase their equipment HERE from Denver/Dallas Percussion.
