We offer payment plans for anyone who is interested, and just ask that you pay as much of your dues or fees that you are able to in order to help support the band program. Money is NEVER a reason to quit band—we make any situation work so that ALL students at McLean can pursue music!!!
Band Dues: Our band dues are $90 per year, and cover your t-shirt, food and drinks for the year, cost of trips, contest entries, and other items such as new music. It may be paid $90 at once or $45 per semester. Contact your director for information on a payment plan. We ask that all band students pay this due if possible.
Instrument Rental Fee: If you choose to rent your instrument from the school district, the cost is $80 per year. It must be paid $40 per semester to the front office in cash or by check. Contact your director for information on a payment plan. See below to find out if this applies to you.

MUST Rent from FWISD ($80/year):
Percussionists should purchase their own sticks, mallets, and drum pad if possible. Students will use school instruments for everything else, including snare drum, bass drum, timpani, marimba, accessories, and more. |
Option of renting from FWISD OR purchasing/renting from a music store:
We encourage these instruments to rent from the music store if at all possible, but do have a limited quantity available to rent from the school if the music store is not an option |
Band Dues Financial Aid
We will have a Band Dues Financial Aid Form at Registration Day. This Financial Aid can be used for Band Dues ($90), Instrument Rental Fees ($40/semester), or even private lessons. If you have more questions, just contact Mrs. Martien at christa.white@fwisd.org.
